Less than 2 weeks away from the fabulous Wayne, NJ phono show. I will be accepting reproducer repairs in the parking lot on Saturday, and on Sunday at the show. From Exhibitions to Orthophonics. POT METAL REQUIEM

The swelling is so infuriating
And like butchering or disemboweling
A soundbox that screeches, rattles
In its howling

Bearings loose
Bezels cracked
And all rubber parts whacked

A hand cut gasket,
Some 21st century tech,
Some gentle force,
Penetrating oil of course
Why struggle with a pain in the neck?

Aren’t you glad you sent it to me?
And listen to that soundbox sing!

So, when you think you want to end it,
