Found: Delaminating Acetate

7" or 10" is preferred. The disc should be mostly or completely playable but showing signs of delamination. I'm willing to pay for shipping and will send the donor a free copy, if desired.

This is for an experiment to test the preservation of delaminating lacquer or acetate discs. The original will be copied using my mold making process and will likely be destroyed in the process.

Specifically 7 or 10, not 7 to 10?

I've got a whole stack of 8 inch acetate from 1953-55 I'd give you in various states of delamination from 100% playable to 100% unplayable, and I don't need or want it back. I think it's about 25 of them, ordinary songs copied off the radio without anything historically special about them, so it's no loss if your experimentation eats a few up.
