So, I'm going to be looking at a lot of over 500 records in a few days. I've never bought records this way.
If I see enough that I would like, I would have to buy the whole lot. Of course, if there isn't enough to spark my interest, I'll pass.
My question is, once you lug a lot of records home, how do you get rid of the ones you don't want? I'm not looking forward to having hundreds of discs just lying around the house...
Thanks!
Practical question? unwanted records.

Craigs list ad "Free records for local pickup". Call thrift shops and see if they will take them and so forth. You could even place an ad in the trader section here if there's someone in your area that could take them.

Other ideas - give them to newbies, keep them to include with machines you sell, use some for wall decorations...

If you post them for free on Craigslist and or Facebook then someone will almost definitely take them.
That's been my experience anyway.

I would add to the Craigslist ad that if they don't take at least a whole box, or if they just want to cherry pick, it would be a dollar a record. If you post them for free on Craigslist and or Facebook then someone will almost definitely take them.
