SOLD: Berliner 222 Trumpeter Service Calls-Phila PA-$125

No date on this Berliner but it was most likely recorded in 1897. Title and artist credits are all hand written and record surface has lots of scattered shallow pock marks (resulting from the cooling process that was used). These features are consistent with an early Berliner and the Paul Charosh book indicates catalog numbers very close to this one with recording dates in 1897 so this was almost certainly recorded in 1897.

This one is #222 "Service Calls #1 To #12 E. PUGH Of 1st Trumpeter Troop PHILA."

I've not played this record but visually the record surface looks good with typical scattered surface scratches. PM with interest. USPS shipping additional and at cost. Thanks.
