I was wondering if anyone has this record. I heard it at the end of Endgame movie and think it would sound great on a wind up. Thanks.

Last I looked, there were several for sale on eBay due to the interest in Avengers: Endgame soundtrack.

Ouch. I wish I knew this when I still had my other 5 copies of it... of course never having seen Avengers: Endgame I had no idea they were in any way desirable.

I think I've still got one left, how much are you thinking for it?

Well, I came here hoping to get a better deal than on ebay, but I'm sure you can get more on ebay than what I can give. Had it not been in endgame, it would probably be a $5 record. I just bought a WWII bringback pistol so my slush fund is not where I like it to be.

Well, I have it. Columbia red label no. 36838, b/b Autumn Serenade. Here's the story: fellow in this area was a big Harry James fan, and his records ended up in a local thrift shop where I happened to spot them. IIRC, they were priced at 25¢ or 50¢ each, and I bought all twelve of them there at the time. Nice variety of titles on the 24 sides, a good many of his hits, for HJ was big in his day and still is admired by trumpet players today, kinda like Tommy Dorsey in the trombone world. My copy's not for sale, but I hope you have luck in finding one for yourself.

The song fits very well, but you have to watch a whole lot of movies ahead of Endgame to get the full meaning of how well it fits in.
