Very interesting!
I wonder what brand of phonograph works are installed?
Such a decorated piece should play something better than a plain black shellac record- maybe a Vocalion splatter design or Vogue picture disc!

We had Forum fun about a year ago when I asked for the make and model of the machine which was the starting point of my piece of folk art. The prize was a pair of Nipper salt & pepper shakers. If you searched for "Can you identify this mystery machine? Prize Awarded!!" you would find it. The grand prize winner was Glenn "Damfino59."Jerry, are there details about this machine posted somewhere on the forum? How about a Featured Phonograph?
