Being a machine person for many years and not really into the record end of our hobby, I finally pulled the trigger

After selling two Gram-O-Phone 7in disc for crazy money, I was finally able to justify purchasing something that I've wanted for many year and complete with it's original box top.

I purchased this cylinder on Ebay earlier in the week and it arrived today.. The seller said it was in excellent shape and he was right on the money.

This rendition of Edison's speech "Let Us Not Forget" starts out with an announcement, followed by the famous speech by Edison himself which is then followed up with the playing of the Star Spangle Banner.

Don't know if the seller is on this forum but he is from Texas and has made my day..

The cost of the cylinder was nearly the cost of the machine I'm playing it on but it all in perspective,,, just ask my wife LOL..
