Hi, Friends,
I am looking for someone who can repair my Amberola 30 hopefully in the State of Maine. I believe that it needs a new reproducer installed. Thanks for any guidance.

Re: Repair in Maine
If you only need a new reproducer, you can easily change that yourself. Remove any record from the mandrel. Undo the reproducer carriage thumbscrew(s), lift the reproducer out of the carriage, and gently twist the reproducer to remove it from the horn. Reverse the process to install a new reproducer.
If you need your reproducer repaired, there's a Links section on the board with recommended vendors.

Thanks so much, Victor. Do you recommend eBay for getting a new reproducer? Is there another vendor? I need to buy one. -Stan

Re: Repair in Maine
As phonograph part, the reproducer is something that can generally be serviced and brought back into "as new" playing condition. Wyatt Markus and Steve Medved are two excellent repairmen. If their contact information is not in the "Links" section of our Forum send me a PM and I'll provide it to you. Is it possible to post some photos of your reproducer so we could give you better advice? You could buy something, upwards of $150 or more, on Ebay only to find it too needed service. If you are able to post photos, post some or your machine as well. Welcome to the Forum.
