I like green but just not pea green and especially not
on phonographs, furniture, couches, or carpets. As Jim said,
it reminds me also of something that is "ejected", if you will.

The green of FRESH peas is just fine- this looks more like canned peas or what was called Avocado.

This one would be a good project. I bet the seller would let it go for a lot less. The paint would bubble up with stripper and be removed with a plastic scrapper, causing no damage to original finish which might come out fine with a rub-down using 0000 steel wool and Danish oil.

Any missing mechanics are easily obtained. This one still has its casters!

What a travesty to perpetrate on a VV-XI. It might be worth it to try to strip the paint off-?-

Is there something jammed into the horn slats (r/h photo)? Maybe that's the "record storage" area!
