This ad from June 1925 amused me. Victor takes a swipe at radio in this one: there is only one way to avoid what you DON'T like. This is almost the end of the pre-Orthophonic ads. I think they did one last campaign in July.

I have a Victor sleeve from the early 30's when they'd completely given in- it reads "Hear this record on the NEW Electrola with Radiola and get ALL the Music!"

For some strange reason, I can't see the ad. It was there, earlier, when I looked, but now it appears to be gone. (Tried it with IE as well as Firefox.)

I think I did it.
I was trying to get a little better detail and uploaded a file that was too big. It's back to the original.
