I do believe that this is a very fine example of a Sonora Elite model (step above a Baby Grand).

There is often confusion in correctly identifying specific Sonora Bombe models visually because careful attention to relatively subtle enhancements in corner carving are needed to properly ID each model. Also, going up the model scale, there are also relatively modest increases in size for each unit from least expensive to most expensive. In general, all of Sonora's bombe models are quite striking in person. The most high end Sonora's tend to be more robust than their Victor counterparts (larger scale including fittings).

I agree with Victor VII , I looked in a Sonora catalogue and the dimensions and carvings are that of an Elite, I have always heard that the Oak units never came with a wooden tone arm, if you look carefully at photos, tonearm tends to have a red tint? Maybe its just my eye sight, Have anyone seen an oak Sonora with a correct wood tonearm? I have a Oak Grand and it is gold plated.

Here is another Oak Sonora with the wooden tonearm. The seller did change the Title and description to Elite and raised the price by $100.00 too.

Hmm, That wood tonearm doesn't match either ,all the other hardware is nickle , if you watch the video you can see the original nickle plated tonearm in the spare parts drawer, might be a trend on trying to dress up some machines by adding the wooden arm. ??
