Here is a beautiful set produced by Polydor for the Japanese market during WWII.

Strauss was asked by Goebbels to write a piece of music for the celebration of the 2600 anniversary of the founding of Japan.

This set was recorded in 1940 by Dr. Strauss with the Munich State Opera Orchestra.

Grade: Discs are in E condition, the album itself shows signs of wear, but it is still very presentable.
