FOR SALE: Huge Pile of Really Good Diamond Discs - $Various

Post by PeterF »

Hi -

It's time to cull out the doubles and extras from my Edison Diamond Disc collection. I stacked them all up on the table and went through them, and tallied them using the spreadsheet of all Edison recordings. Here is the result. No pricing yet, but there are certainly some special ones in there and you will know 'em when you see 'em.

I wanted to lay the whole list out, first, and bit by bit as I complete my research I will add asking prices. However, for early/eager folks, you can make offers (hint: there will be bulk discounts - the more you request, the cheaper the pile will be). No subterfuge here, just want them out of here quickly, so this might be your big chance.

The grading (first column) is visual, and the columns include the recording date, catalog number, artist, title. When you see multiple gradings, that's because there are multiple copies of that record, with grading shown for each. I tried to grade each side separately, although both sides are typically equal - with some exceptions. Any questions, just ask.

Might I suggest you post the Excel version of this or at least a neatly formatted PDF? It's very hard to parse through in this form.
