Not sure if this is a great deal, but looks nice from what I can see on CL, and while I am new to this, I believe it is the domed top VTLA with gold hardware in mahogany. Thought I'd post it in case anyone is in the Cape Coral, FL area who is interested...

This is the 2nd style VTLA right after the Flat top Pooley cabinet. Very good buy at the asking price.

Kind of far from rural British Columbia - but if only... What a great machine!

I wish I could figure out a way to get it to Ohio. That seems like a very good buy on that model. I certainly hope someone on the board is able to get that one.

Yes, it's not exactly in my neighborhood (or state) either
, or I'd be picking it up myself rather than posting about it!

Tink... buy it, get the seller to hold it until the Florida show, get some sun in the winter and haul that machine home. It's worth every dime. Jerry

Boy, as tempting as that notion is, my husband would probably want to shoot me. He patiently obliged me with my last two purchases, but only because I first naively vowed I was not transforming into the female version of my brother the vintage Schwinn collector/restorer.Jerry B. wrote:Tink... buy it, get the seller to hold it until the Florida show, get some sun in the winter and haul that machine home. What started as a little hobby for my brother restoring one Schwinn bicycle wound up becoming 36+ Schwinns... I'm afraid it might be something in the genes; I probably would not be far behind, and have my house crammed full of phonographs!
Is there a 12 step program available??

It is actually a ten-step program, and involves breaking each finger so that you can't use the computer.

Tinkerbell, most of our wives want to shoot us. We are in desperate need of some balance to this madness. You know you want that machine and you have our (if somewhat selfish) support! Oh help us Tinkerbell-kanobe, you are our only hope!Tinkerbell wrote:
