FOUND!: fiber needle cutter.
Looking for a fiber needle cutter if anyone has one they want to sell for a reasonable price. Willing to consider one that needs a new blade or the blade sharpened, if someone had one of those they’d let go cheap.

Re: Wanted: fiber needle cutter.
Apologies if you know this already, but you can sharpen triangular bamboo fibre needles very well using wet-and-dry abrasive (dry of course!) on a flat surface - rub the needle point to and fro at the usual angle. 240 grade is best for thorn needles and will probably be best for bamboos too.anchorman wrote:Looking for a fiber needle cutter if anyone has one they want to sell for a reasonable price. I’ve got numerous ways I could make it happen, but love how effortless it is with the cutter a local collector friend has. Tempted to make my own, but I have so many other projects to catch up on at the moment, and so would be happier with a proper cutter if one is to be had without costing me an arm and a leg.

Re: Wanted: fiber needle cutter.
I purchased a Lyon and Healy fiber needle cutter on ebay for $26 earlier this year.
I highly recommend it. You just need to be patient and keep your eye out for a good one. Mine gives me a sharp point every time. I'm sure if you are willing to pay more, you won't have to wait long. This one is crazy expensive, but you can make an offer. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Signed ... Swx2Bcq5xb

Hi Stan, I may be interested in one or both of yours. I’ve got someone supposed to be sending me pictures of one they have. Will be in touch
