14. Silvertone 8132, "Silvertone Melody Men" (Carl Fenton orch off Gennett) "You're The Cream In My Coffee" / "Orange Blossom Home". A side needs no introduction, and this is a great version. B side sounds like a snoozer but actually isn't. Visual E- that plays E, but pressed just slightly off center- not noticeable till the last few bars. Small price tag and pen mark on "Coffee" side No YouTube... bummer. $20
15. Columbia 14141-D, Dixie Washboard Band with "Shufflin' Sam", "My Own Blues" / "You For Me, Me For You". Great band with Bennie Moten and Clarence Williams. visual e-, plays E to E+, needle run on label B. Really clean for a "race" washboard disc! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyZ7LVdnaPU $75

17. Victor Scroll 23008, Bix Beiderbecke Orch., "I Don't Mind Walkin' In The Rain" / "I'll Be A Friend With Pleasure". Bix is helped out by Joe Venuti, Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, and Eddie Lang on this session. Visual V++ with slight label damage. The end of the line in 1931 for Irving Mills' great white bands (Mills Musical Clowns, Hotsy Totsy Gang, Lumberjacks, Whoopee Makers, etc.) of the 1920s- and, according to Rust, never issued, but here it is. Visual V++ that plays E on A, but, full disclosure, I never listened to B. A is a very listenable fox trot ballad No YouTube- foiled again! $20
