Reproducer ID HELP

I was going through some boxes of old parts I had and came across these , I have two questions is the Columbia Floating reproducer an original or a reproduction? And question number two what is the Edison device? Thanks Larry

Don't know about the Columbia, but I think the Edison is from a dictation machine (Ediphone--Dictaphone--Dictagraph--whatever the company called them...).

I agree that the Edison piece is from a dictation machine.
My thoughts are the the Columbia reproducer is a reproduction.
