SOLD: Ok you Nipper collectors! I have a rare Nipper and Gramophone collectible that was sold by Billings Artworks, U.S.A. introduced back in 2000. Billings in the company that makes the actual Grammy Awards.

This is a quality item measuring 13"L x 7 ½"D x 9"H and weighs 1.25 lbs., made of wood and bronze. The gramophone was from left over Grammy Awards produced up to 1984 when at the time they changed the Grammy Award design. This particular piece is serial number #023 of 500. The first 36 pieces were made with Nipper in Bronze then the artist changed Nipper to a painted white Nipper. So this one is one of the earliest made. You can find more detailed information about it's production in the Rolf's book "Nipper Collectibles" on page 5-72.

I happen to have two of these that I acquired at auction within the last 2 years. So I am offering #23 on to another Nipper collector.
