A Fontopia / OKeh record from around 1920

Post by melvind »

I bought this record because of the interesting labels on both the front and back of this one sided record. Around 1920 OKeh records in the US was licensed to press and sell a number of Italian Fontiopia records. This is one from 1911. I don't know that this record is all that great. It has great playing in many places and pitch issues in others. Obviously a very difficult piece to play. But, I am not sure I would have wanted this record released had I been the performer. It is a fun record to own for the labels if nothing else.
