I have seen the Brunswick Ultona 2 way and 3 way reproducers, each have the extra needle mount on the lateral side needle bar for the Pathé or vertical cut records, but I have seen more than a couple that do not have the extra Pathé/vertical needle mount. At first, I thought I had a reproducer that somebody had switched out the original 2 mount needle bar for a single mount, but now I have seen 3 or 4 that way. Was there a time when Brunswick used a single mount needle bar on the lateral side?
The attached photo shows 2 reproducers, each has the Edison stylus but one has a 2 way needle bar, the other doesn't. I just brought home this reproducer with the single mount and got curious.
Thanks! Cliff
