Union 2020 Travel Blog...Maybe!

Post by Jerry B. »

We usually have an interesting Union travel blog that shows scenic photos, interesting tourist stops, and photos of Stan abuse. This year will be a little different. I don't expect antique shops to be open, interesting tourist destinations like the world's largest ball of twine are closed, and I promised Stan a safe trip. To ensure safe distancing, Stan will be riding in the trailer. That's about fifteen feet behind the driver. I would like it to be a good experience for Stan so I painted the floor and ramp of the trailer. The local paint supplier suggest two tablespoons of Lysol per gallon to increase Corona Virus protection. It only increased the price of the paint a little and Stan's worth it. I sure hope Stan has a good flash on his camera. He'll need it.

Jerry, you better put a fixed seat in there with restraints for Stan. Can't have that trailer getting dented from the inside out, now, can we? Maybe you should make it a potty seat in case you drive like I do.

Hopefully the ventilation is inadequate but you should give him one of these just in case:

I don't mind. That means something good is coming home or things going to a new home. I plan to drive on the brail strip to keep Stan alert.  I like the Lysol inhailer. :)

AHHH! Don't be mean to Stan. He's a good guy! Maybe you could tie a chair to the top of the trailer instead (think Family Vacation)? Lot's of fresh air, unobstucted view and he wouldn't have to use his flash.

That's a great idea!! That way Stan won't be fumbling in the dark for his inhaler and he can also warn Jerry of low bridges!

Yes, I am! One of the pleasures of travel is the opportunity to see other collectors but from a safe distance of course. So my route west is I-80.
