This is an Edison model D Home in a mahogany cabinet. Condition is as follows.
The mechanism is clean and in good working order. It has a model H reproducer which has been rebuilt. It has a pulley wheel attached on the back left end of the casting. It may have had a repeat attachment at one time. The pot metal casting has not been replaced. It has not swelled much and just needed a little reaming to free up the mandrel shaft.
The motor is in good working order. It had a broken spring when I purchased it. I have replaced the spring and it is running fine. The phonograph does have the original crank with a mahogany handle. I did not get it in any of the photographs.
The case has a good original finish with some dings and scratches. The lid has some veneer damage in three locations. In one location it is missing a one and one half inch by one quarter inch piece of veneer. The other two sections the veneer has lifted.
The price is 1800.00
