For Sale: Model A Home Hawthorne & Sheble $1500 Sold

Post by WantATreat »

This is an early Edison model A Home with a Hawthorne and Sheble decal on the front of the case. The serial number on the casting is H3203. This phonograph is in good running order. The case has a very good original finish with no flaking anywhere. There is one old chip on the front right of the cover and both rear corners of the base molding have some minor damage. There was some work done to this phonograph in the past. The reproducer has fairly new gaskets and the glass diaphragm I think is a replacement. The rubber pads under the four corners of the casting are replacements. For some reason the clips on the lid where buffed and whatever nickel plating was there no longer remains. All in all it is a nice machine with the first version of the Hawthorn and Sheble decal and a National crank.
