Here we have a hard to find accessory. It is a volume control that will fit on either an Exhibition or a Columbia tapering tone arm reproducer. I've attached an image of the AD for this item from The Talking Machine World.

This is one cool attachment, allowing you to tone down the music, or let it go at full volume. Just a turn of the knob is all it takes. Its fully functional! It easily attaches to either Victor or Columbia reproducer with no modification as outlined in the instruction in the ad. This one is called the "Universal" Tone Regulator in the ad.
