If you have an iPhone or Android phone, you can also download Google Translate from either the App Store (iPhone) or the Google Play Store (Android), and it can use your camera to attempt to translate text. It’s not perfect, but it might be worth a shot.

You can also enable the Russian keyboard on either type of phone and type what you see into Google Translate as well; one of my clients managed to set their printer to Russian, and I had to use that in order to put it back in English. :D

Hope this helps.

When I have a chance later, I make take a stab at translating your images above.

Regards,

David

As an opera lover who listens to Russian opera sometimes, I've used Google Translate to decode Russian. Google Translate has Cyrillic upper and lower case letters, and even handwriting letters! I've learned a lot about how to say Russian phonetically.

For example a P makes an 'r' sound in Russian and a B makes a 'v' sound as in Rimsky Korsakov's name:
Nikolai Andreyevich Rimsky-Korsakov (Russian: Николай Андреевич Римский-Корсаков,

Probably everybody knows that CCCP means USSR. The P stands for Russia - Россия

Brilliant ! I googled Russian alphabets but never found this ! bit tedious though but I expect practice makes perfect although results are a bit strange , "Song about Stalin / Syrodony Zarag " OK BUT " Adjective to criticism / Sing " "Box " " I am Married / Kodkhoz Rurra " All good fun :D

The Advert sleeve is interesting , Advert for Vitamins !

"They Promote Health , protect against infectious diseases due to bodeau , and increase performance community "

Writing text is a bit more difficult as the characters seem to alter , and goodness knows what " bodeau " is , perhaps "bad water" perhaps a bit of French as spoken by the Tsar ?

My wife reads some Russian. Let me see if I can get her to help out with this one.
