Henry Busse - Hot lips with vocals by Judy Randall
Here is something I found on the internet recently - an excerpt from the early three strip technicolor short called "Starlit days at the lido" which was filmed around the pool area of the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles. Filmed in 1935 it features Henry Busse and his band playing "Hot lips". There are some great shots of the hotel, pool and a number of the stars of the day all in glorious color. Must of been taken from a fantastically restored print. Judy Randall who does the vocals is also very easy on the eye.
I am interested in all forms of audio media including: gramophones, phonographs, wire recorders, the tefifon, reel to reel tapes, radiograms and radios.
