I came across this in one of my endless stacks of shellac, and it piqued my interest. The label identifies it as a disc to be used "only for demonstrating the Philco Photo-Electric Reproducer in retail stores." Is that the same as their "Beam of Light" reproducer? I've always wanted one of those. Anyone here have any experience restoring and/or listening to one? Are they really all that, or more of a gimmick?
This one, apparently, was not "destroyed after the demonstration period" (whatever that was). I played it on my RCA V-225. Sounded just fine.
Please don't report me.
