my newest find out of an estate sale

Post by tofinal-4 »

Today I purchased an Edison C-150 out of an estate sale with about 30 Edison records and a extra gold reproducer for use on 78's Everything is in pristine condition since this is only my 2nd machine, I think I got a great deal but am not sure. I paid $240 for this.

My C150 has been my regular player for many years. Yours is early, still having the pin stripes and decals on the bedplate. Oak is a major plus too. I like my mahogany version, but I'd trade for an oak one in a hearbeat!

Congrats. I hope you enjoy it for many years. These machines are nearly indestructible!

That's a really nice phonograph. I'd say you got an excellent deal! Looks as if it's in really clean condition!

It looks very good, it's in working order and with the added plus of being able to play standard 78s... $240 for the lot seems a good deal! Enjoy it!

Congratulations! I love the oak finish. Notice how the crank and white base molding in the room reflect off the finish. Looks like a one owner. Did you get any history on the machine?
