Congratulations! It looks like a very clean Model B Standard from around 1906. It should do a fine job playing two minute cylinders.

Did you order a "Model C" reproducer? Also, you do know that this will only play Edison black wax 2M cylinders or 2M celluloid indestructible cylinders - not 4M Edison Blue Amberols... right?

$230? You got a good deal my dude. I paid $300 for mine. Did you know if yours has a bad belt you can use a O-ring from for a GE water filter? Worked with mine and it plays perfectly.

Nice! I still haven't bought my first cylinder machine yet, but am looking forward to one day being able to play my first cylinder.

Congrats.

Congratulations! I share your enthusiasm. When I was first collecting, I found cylinder machines to be very elusive "in the wild" and when I did find them, they were too expensive or more seasoned collectors snapped them up.

Enjoy! They're out there but still a little tough to find unless you attend a show or are at the right place at the right time... Or, maybe I was just looking in the wrong places back in those early years

Not where I’m from. I have no trouble finding Edison cylinder machines here but Columbia yes. Now a open horn Victor or Columbia disc machine in the wild that’s elusive! The only Columbia machines I’ve found out in the wild here are Grafonolas. I want one but i don’t have the room at the moment.

People here are quite generous. :) i'm sure somebody here will hook you up with some cylinders. But only 2 minute ones for this machine.
