Original Columbia 800 Diaphragm Photo needed?

Post by larryh »

Having a sort of debate about what the original Columbia Diaphragm it self looked like. I see a whole lot of reproducers on line but so far can't find one with just the actual original diaphragm showing. If someone has taken a photo of theirs perhaps you could put it up here, just curious. I'am talking the 800 model, not a portable which from what I saw so far could be a different design?

I have an 820, would that work for you? The diaphragm is a little damaged, but is original. I can supply a photo when I get home later if you would like.

I guess I didn't know there was an 820, but if you can put the photo up here I would at least see how the basic diaphragm of the time looked. I would appreciate it.

I hope this helps- my apologies, it came on a Columbia 810, Not 820 as I previously posted. So it is essentially the same thing as an 800.
