HELLO,,; DOES ANYONE KNOW IF THERE IS A WOOD REPLACMENT CRANK HANDLE FOR MY SLOTED VIC. CRANK ,, WOOD HANDLE ON SHAFT ,,( SEE PICTS. ) WOULD APRICIATE IT? ,,,,,, IF THERE IS SUCH A THING MADE , THIS WOULD BE A CRANK STYLE THAT WOULD GO TO A VIC. MOD. (M) MACHINE,,, FRT. Your "Victor" crank may be possibly a Berliner crank, since it is a straight shaft, although some Victor machines also used them.
There are repro cranks made that you could scavenge the wood handle from or from a not so good original crank. The handle shaft should be threaded to unscrew from the main part of the crank, but may be soldered... The "knobs" on other Victrola cranks are threaded with a left hand thread, so you turn it clock-wise to unscrew it.
