SOLD Free: somewhere around 500 78 RPM records

Post by beat_truck »

Lots of 78s for free. I'd say at least 500. Probably more.

I'm culling the records I've been hoarding since I was a child. Most are late acoustic and early electric recordings. Some earlier and later stuff mixed in. I kept nearly all the dance, jazz, early country, and race records. Most are filthy dirty. Few, if any are cracked. I threw those out. You'll need to bring crates or boxes.

I have a few more to go through, and am doing that now. I will be listing them locally, too. So you better act quickly if you're interested.

We live at distance in Memphis. I'm interested in some if they could be shipped. If not, we may need to arrange a trip/ship.

Sorry, but I'm not going to the trouble of shipping them.

I honestly doubt that there is anything there worth traveling all that distance for, but I could be wrong. I just know that I test played a lot of them and there wasn't anything I wanted to hear again.

They need to go ASAP, too. They are stacked up on my front porch, pretty much out of the weather's reach, but a severe storm could get some of them wet.
