These were probably a little hard to use...

Useful in the days before radar in WW1. On the south coast of England there are a series of large concrete sound mirrors which took it to a whole new level and were to help detect aircraft in the distance. They still exist today.
I am interested in all forms of audio media including: gramophones, phonographs, wire recorders, the tefifon, reel to reel tapes, radiograms and radios.

I wonder if those concrete sound mirrors have ever used as amphitheaters?
