Amberola 75 Drawers

Post by Tpapp54321 »

Today I picked up an Amberola 75, it’s a little rough and is missing the three record storage drawers. The machine ended up costing me $40, so I’m not too upset about it. Looking at pictures online they seem like they’d be pretty easy to replicate. Is this something that could be easily done? If so, what kind of wood should I use, and could someone send me detailed pictures showing the construction as well as dimensions?

A $40 Amberola 75, what a deal! I believe both the oak and mahogany Amberola 75s had the same basic drawer made from inexpensive wood like fir or pine. I've always thought the 30, 50, & 75 models were a lot of phonograph for the money both back in the day and today. Congratulations!
