Is this Victrola English Brown Mahogany?

Getting ready to start on a new project, 1917 XVI. I am pretty sure this is what is considered by Victor as English Brown Mahogany finish. Does anyone else agree? Looks like mahogany veneer stained with walnut stain or dye.
