Someone contacted me who owns a VV 4-3 Victrola. The pot metal reproducer is crumbling to pieced. Does anyone know
If a Exhibition reproducer or Victor # 2 will fit in the tone arm?
Question on Orthophonic Reproducer.

Re: Question on Orthophonic Reproducer.
I hear you can use a No. 2 if the rubber isolator is swapped out for a replica No. 4/Orthophonic isolator, but the ideal would be to send the crumbling reproducer off for a new body & call it good so that you don't lose the good Orthophonic sound--those old parts, like needle bars and such, get incorporated into new reproducers. That should be fun.

Re: Question on Orthophonic Reproducer.
Does it play and, if so, how does it sound? I have had several over the years that looked like they were one step from dust but played very well. However if it must be repaired, Wyatt Marcus is the one to do it.
