Mahogany Berliner Victrola VI
I just picked up this lowly Victrola VI, a slight project machine. I paid more than I usually would for a VI, but it's mahogany, and it's got this Berliner dealer tag. So it's a keeper, and my oak Victrola VI gets booted out. The cats are already planning its destruction.

I can see lots of potential with that VI. I hope you'll post a photo of the finished machine.

Her is one more before picture, and all the rest are after a couple of hours. It didn't really need much, though I struggled a bit to get the remaining piece of reproducer off that was stuck to the tonearm.
Not your average Victrola VI. This one is a keeper.

Nice snag Mike!! Mahogany VV-VIs are far from common. Here's one I picked up earlier this week, sitting on top of the Lundstrom "Converto" cabinet it was housed in.

Just an FYI.... your machine is not a Berliner Victrola VI. It is in fact a Victor (USA) made V-V VI that was distributed in Canada by the Berliner Gramophone Co. Montreal.

Thanks. Unfortunately, like most of the Lundstrom's I've encountered, it has severe damage to the bottom horn opening door. I'm not sure if it can be repaired.
