Correct type crane for a suitcase home?
I'm looking to eventually have a cabinet mounted crane for my 1897 Edison home, I haven't the floorspace for a floor crane now, but I'm slightly in unknown territory, what would be a correct type cabinet crane for such a machine, I've got a 30" brass horn ready for it

The Hawthorne & Sheble "No.4" crane is the earliest cabinet-mounted crane I'm aware of. This is the earliest ad I've found for it: the July 1898 issue of The Phonoscope.
