SOLD: Victor V With Original Spear Tip Wood Horn

Post by Fonotone »

For those who might be interested, I just listed a nice Victor V on my TechnoGallerie website. And I mean really nice. Original throughout, and...well, gorgeous -- both phonograph and horn.

Here's the link: https://www.technogallerie.com/product- ... -machines/

Other neat stuff to see there, too.

Something looks off with the finish around the decal on the horn?

The horn is original; the decal is original; the finish is original (as you can clearly see by looking at the wood in the vicinity of the collar). I would imagine the horn has been cleaned, polished, waxed and buffed at some point -- possibly more than once -- resulting in a thin shadow around the blocked off decal, and perhaps that's what you think is "off?" I don't really know if that's what you think is off, because you pose your barb rhetorically as a question, not as an observation. In any event, the horn and the finish look quite nice to me, Garret. Happy Easter.
