APS O'Hare Expo Postponed

I just checked the APS website and read that the 2021 June expo was postponed until 2022.

In the interim, this is the message that has been posted on the APS site.

To our valued community,

On April 15th, we had sincerely hoped to announce the 2021 APS Midwest Music EXPO (MME). With current Illinois COVID restrictions and increasing infection and hospitalization trends in the Midwest, there is no assured path for a successful event in June. We are forced to postpone.

We know you are disappointed. So are we. However, APS’ commitment to a Midwest EXPO is unchanged, and we look forward to seeing you at the Chicago (Schaumburg) Hyatt in June, 2022.

The COVID situation in California currently looks promising but our EXPO in Buena Park is a national event and its status is still uncertain. Please bear with us during the next two months while we assess options.

What are the ramifications of holding the Buena Park event when it is considered at "national event?" Just curious...
