Hey.
I just wanted to share, and I thought this was quite nice... on the reverse of the boiler plate, the number, date and presumably, the name of the assembler/builder.
I wonder if this was normal? Not sure a turn-of-the-century mass-production line would allow time for such a daliance...?
What do we reckon, 1931 or 1937?

Definitely looks like 1937 to me. The seven is written the old fashioned way my 3rd grade teacher wrote her sevens. She was 64 years old back in 1967. (Need I say she's no longer among the quick.)

I think it may be the mark of someone who has serviced it in 1937. Akin to clock repairmen who leave their mark.
