In need of a spindle for my front crank 1921 VV-50. Mine is slightly bent causing a wobbly playback. The machine shops in my area are short staffed so I just need to replace it! If someone can help me out that would be great! The machine is completely done but this! Frustrating!! Thanks all!!
Thanks all.

I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work.

Re: Wanted: Spindle for VV-50
Pellican,
Your spindle is unique to the VV-50 so finding an exact replacement may be difficult. Yours should be a two piece spindle with a cap that threads into the top end. You may have some success straightening the spindle if you have access to a lathe and dial indicator.
Are you sure that it isn’t the turntable that is bent?

No you can see the spindle moving side to side while spinning. Yeah I'm taking the spindle to a machine shop tomorrow.
Thanks Mark!

Look for George Vollema, Great Lakes Antique Phonograph... He has a great stock of parts and also makes repairs. A link must be in the forum links section.
