Edison Suitcase Home, ca 1899 (specific serial #)

Hi,

I am looking for a specific Edison Suitcase Home, which had an early C Reproducer which rotated.
It was a little unusual since it had the original Tag from the store that sold it. It would be helpful to see that Tag, if it still survived (NJ or NY?). The Serial No. on the chassis was 37129. It would be amazing if this machine was still kicking around after all these years.

What do you mean by the reproducer rotated ??The carriage arm holds the reproducer and that moves. Do you know what was on the tag ?? There are a lot of tags out there and this would help.

He means the reproducer was a "winged C" that could rotate within the carriage. The thumbscrew abutting the arm, (a.k.a "wing"), being the adjustment that controlled reproducer position.

Yes, indeed, it was an early "winged C" reproducer that rotated for some adjustment - before the model that was inserted in place with the (rigid) 12 o'clock pin.

The shop label or stamp on the original '1899' Sales Tag of that elusive 'Suitcase Home' (S.N. 37129) was "The Standard Phonograph Co." I can't tell in advance (if it turns up that is) whether it will say NJ or NY?
