As I was digging through a box of 78s in my attic I was excited to find a Pathé splatter disc but my heart sunk when I saw that it had a crack. So I got out some super glue and some liquid-steel type epoxy. I joined the crack together with super glue and then reformed the chipped lead-in with the epoxy. You can certainly hear the tick in the beginning until the repair ends but the record is at least playable. And I don't even have to worry about wrecking the needle
