I recently acquired this rare Miraphone, featuring a 18.5" disk music box (the largest ever made by Mermod Frères of Switzerland) and a phonograph with components made by Columbia. My restorer came to my house and polished the cabinet, and I cleaned and serviced the mechanical components. The musical combs are perfect, no broken teeth, no damper noises, just pure, loud and resonant music. The phonograph plays through an inside horn, with the sound emanating from the latticework grille at the top, adorned by hand-carved cherubs. This is the rarest and most desirable of all Miraphones, seldom seen as only about 15 were known to have been made. 20 music box disks are included. Price is $22,000. I can crate and ship safely most anywhere in the world.

Re: FOR SALE: MIRAPHONE
Yes, thank you, I fully agree. I’ve had three over the years, the first two going into major, well-known collections. This one probably is the best of the three.
