Could you please help to identify this cabinet (Cie. Fse. du Gramophone)?

A friend of mine found this nice but empty cabinet. Considering the logo and the fact that it is a back-mount model, I think that it was made around 1904/1908 but I don’t know which model it is.
Dimensions: 33 by 33 by 16.5 cm (13" by 13" by 6.5”). The same dimensions than the Vic I but a different cabinet. I don’t know either if it was a single or double spring.
Thanks a lot for your help,
Jeff

I'm pretty sure it was single spring. It's the French version of the Junior Monarch.

Steve is right this a French Junior Monarch.
This is larger than a Victor 1 though, which is normally around 11 inches square and not as high. Junior Monarchs always had single spring motors. The condition of the case looks generally nice.

Thanks Steve and Jamiegramo !
Well, it seems that the name « Monarch Junior » was used in France for a lot of models…
The cie fse du gramophone machines were designated with a number (as number 5 for the so called front mount Monarch Junior). Does anyone know the number for this later version? More generally speaking, is there an equivalent of “look for the dog” for the machines of the cie fse du gramophone?

Hi Jeff,
Sadly I don’t know of any such book for French machines, it would be great just as it would be for the Spanish machines!
In 1904 the back mount version of the Monarque Junior was designated ‘5 B’ and the front mount version was the number 5. Later the number designation appears to be dropped in the catalogues which only show, but still retain, the ‘Monarque Junior’ name. I am not aware of this name being used for any other models. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the pic, Jamie!
I will certainly share any documentation I might found on the Spanish and French gramophones.
