BUT-- I just got off the phone with an acquaintance that lives on the Maryland Eastern Shore. She and her husband have been antique dealers for the past 40 years and are now getting rid of most of their inventory. They are in their early 80's and have decided to quit the business.
Phonographs were one of their favorite things to buy and sell-- According to the wife, they have several buildings that have phonographs and parts in them... "Lots of parts"-- I have not seen what they have. She mentioned three credenzas, a machine with curved sides (Sonora, perhaps?) and "an electric machine", as well as others. It sounds like it is mostly inside horn machines, but I know that over the years they bought outside horn Victors as well as Edison cylinder machines. I believe they bought nice machines that needed minimal work, to put in their shop or to take to Antiques Shows.
They would like to find someone who would be interested in looking at everything and making them an offer. They are a truly nice couple who would love to put things into hands of collectors rather than taking things to auction. Ten years ago, I would have already been on my way to see everything, but a bad back and other health concerns has taken me out of the accumulating mode.

If anyone has a serious interest in talking with them and hearing what they have, please contact me and I'll provide their contact information. There just might be some diamonds to be found.
Thanks!
