Dating Edison DD Machines?

Is there a resource for dating the manufacture date for Edison DD machines and also the recording dates for the disc's? Most info I'm finding suggests that this info was not recorded or made public?

Can anyone suggest good websites for other detailed information regarding the DD Machines and Records?

Another resource is "Edison Diamond Disc Re-Creations, Records & Artists 1910-1929" compiled by Raymond R. Wile and edited by Ron Dethlefson.
