The Voice of the Victor - May 1916

Post by novkev24 »

Hey All,

I recently purchased my first Voice of the Victor magazine from eBay. This issue is from May, 1916. I attached a copy for all to enjoy.

Kevin

Thanks for sharing this, Kevin. I wish the entire run was on microfilm (oops - showing my age) or available online!

You're welcome :) I too would love to have all the editions. Unfortunately, these magazines are difficult to come by. I wonder if other members on this site have copies to share with the group.

Thanks Kevin,

I have been looking for a copy and have not yet found one. Glad to be able to read one now.

Perhaps a VotV gallery here one the board would be a great resource.
Why do we need signatures when we are on a first avatar basis?

I agree. A VOTV gallery is a great idea. Maybe the admin can add a section to the site.

You all know how much I like paper materials from the day. This is fabulous. I have never seen a copy of the VOTV except in the illustrated history of Victor and RCA. Many thanks for this.

Thanks for posting this! Interesting reading about how production at all levels were "maxed out" and un-able to keep up with demands. Ahh, here comes the roaring twenties!
