FOR SALE: Edison A200 - $1.00

As I understand I must post a price in the title I included a nominal one since I am really looking to give this machine away to someone who is interested in restoring it.
I've had this for almost 50 years and now I really need to downsize and if I haven't gotten to this project over all these years it is unlikely I ever will.
So, this is a complete A200 (except for the crank) in mahogany. I am posting photos but will list the good and the bad about this machine which is a project but not an extreme one in my opinion. I am really impressed with the transformations wrought by so many on this forum!
The good: It's all there save the crank which isn't hard to find. I think the finish although dirty and rather dried can be saved with a lot of elbow grease.
The bad: The horn and bedplate in my opinion need repainting as the paint has mostly flaked off, the motor needs a thorough cleaning, The veneer on the drawer front needs reglueing but neither the veneer nor the base wood are warped. Reproducer is complete but is the later style without the screwed down plate usually seen on the early reproducers and will need a complete rebuild.
The phonograph is at my home in Concord, NH and will have to be picked up there.
I am really hoping this phonograph can be saved. I know I could make some money parting it out but would hate to do that.

Good for you in offering this worthy restoration project to someone interested in an uncommon, early Edison Disc Phonograph. I hope this will be a rewarding experience for you both!
